Child Care

Children respond exceptionally well to homeopathic medicines.

The commonest complaints that parents come with are that their children have frequent cold and cough and are exhausted giving them cough syrups and antibiotics.

They also talk about

  • Poor appetite in children
  • Milk intolerance
  • Behavioural disorders like poor concentration and attention deficit hyperactive disorder and
  • Bedwetting

Homeopathic medicines stimulate the child’s own immune system so that the illness is cured naturally from within.

When on Homoeopathic treatment, children respond quickly to even acute illnesses like fever, diarrhea and vomiting.

Surgeries can be avoided in children in cases of enlarged Adenoids (nose block and mouth breathing, snoring) and Recurrent Tonsillitis.

The sweet pills are very happily taken by children and hence giving medicines becomes a lot easier for the parents.

Homoeopathy is also safe to be given to newborns using breast milk as a medium for the treatment.

As the immunity of the child builds with regular Homoeopathic medicines, there is a marked improvement in the overall development of the child.

Case of Chronic noseblock (Adenoids) :

Master JM, 6 year old boy, comes to my clinic with complaints of chronic nose block and heavy snoring while he is asleep. His paranasal sinuses X-ray showed enlarged adenoids. His father told me that in fact they had decided to get it operated and had even scheduled the surgery for that week with the ENT surgeon. But they happened to meet their family physician who advised that they could try Homoeopathy instead for their son and see if the surgery could be avoided.

The child was allergic to all food colouring agents and would catch a cold, every time there was a change in weather. He also had a history of recurrent tonsillitis. With regular homoeopathic medicines, the child’s frequency of catching a cold reduced significantly along with the nose block. He could sleep peacefully at night with no snoring and also did not complain of attacks of recurrent sore throat.

The parents were also glad that a surgery could be avoided for their little one.
